Nilgun Baydogan

Professor, Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.

Dr. Nilgun Baydogan is a Professor in the Energy Institute, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Turkey. She received her Bachelor's degree in Science Faculty, Department of Physics from Istanbul University in 1992. She received his Master's degree from Istanbul Technical University, Institute for Nuclear Energy in 1996. She received his Ph.D. from Istanbul Technical University, Institute for Nuclear Energy in 2002. Her research interests include, but are not limited to: Dosimeters; Mechanical, Optical and Solar Properties of Irradiated Materials; Electronic Properties on Irradiated Amorphous and Crystalline Structures; Thin Films and Coating on Glass and so on. Dr. Nilgun Baydogan holds several patents and has published over 100 papers in international journals/conferences. She is also the editor-in-chief of Media and Communication Studies and the associate editor of Synthesis and Sintering. She has served on the editorial boards of more than 20 journals, and has served as conference Chair, technical committee member, and scientific committee member at more than 20 international academic conferences.
